I ordered some cartridges for a Cricut electronic cutter that I ordered concurrently. I had to open the Cricut website in order to see examples of each cartridge; this was a lot of extra work and time. It would have been easier if the Overstock description also had an image of what each cartridge does. I also bought a refurbished sewing machine at an excellent price, and I purchased the 2-year Overstock warranty. The protection plan was available immediately for print or to save as soon as I ordered. I think this was very consumer-friendly! Another task I had to do was update my address and credit card info. It was VERY easy to do: more so than other sites I use. I'm happy. :-D |

Overstock had the same item listed twice. I had to call the manufacturer for clarification. I think there is a problem with the item Price Pfister Mystique Kitchen Faucet. The manufacturer noticed it was the same item but Overstock had it listed 2x and one was approximately $3 cheaper. that was confusing. I ended up paying the extra $3 but it was the item I thought I wanted even though the manufacturer said the two items were exactly the same. |

Quality and prices are no longer the best. Customer service is definitely lacking. It seems that most good reviews have come from people with little experience with Overstock. The book my sister, who lives in another state, purchased for my husband's birthday arrived in Spanish (he does not speak Spanish). I said I would take care of returning the book since she cannot do these things from work. Also, she is going through a lot of family problems (husband with long-term illness and daughter in the hospital) and I am trying to keep her from any additional stress. I called Overstock to arrange for the return and was told that they could not issue a credit to my sister's credit card unless she called herself. I just wanted to send back the book!I I explained the extenuating circumstances, but was denied. Often line employees cannot make exceptions so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me the same thing. A good merchant works with its customers; Overstock did not. |
