intelite - (March 22, 2005) This reflactor telescope is good for the beginners who are interested in astronomical observation. It's inexpensive, but it has a good performance. Light gathering power needs to be improved. It is a manual tracking telescope, and has no GOTO function, so beginners will experience hard time to align, and track the stars.

intelite - (December 06, 2007) It is a good purchase if you are interested in identifying stars in night sky. It has voice data that provide explanations about stars, planets, and constellation. It is very light and small. However, it is quite expensive.

vitaliyg - (January 07, 2008) This good telescope for beginners. Instruction manual was clear enough to have the telescope assembled and running within 30 min. There are two supplied eyepieces (45x, 225x). You have an option to mount camera or additional lenses/filters. Overall, very good item for beginners.

astrogirl22 - (08/29/2008) I have been studying Telescopes and Astronomy for over 12 years and I recently bought Celestron's AstroMaster 90 EQ and everything works great!! The optics are incredible and it is easy to set-up. Most of the parts are already pre-assembled. Though if you are new to the Equatorial Mount System it can be hard to get used to, but once you practice it is no task at all. I will definately purchase more Celestron products and I do recommend this telescope to all users!!

jsheidler_8304372395 - (06/17/2008) This is an amazing device for targeting planets, stars and constellations. Fun to use with a clear night sky. Great for all ages. The built in comments about what you are viewing are great however I wish a speaker was built in instaed of using headphones. Overall 4 stars out of 5.
dewolfxy - (05/21/2008) This is a pretty decent budget telescope. It's good for looking at the moon, or maybe planets and other obvious night sky items. It is a little clumsy to use - you don't have really smooth control of positioning, and it's a little "sticky". It's hard to precisely aim it. But, for the budget price this can be found for, it's an excellent deal for someone who wants to get into night sky watching.
